St Nicholas-at-Wade with Sarre Parish Council

On Thursday morning (20th August) The Parish Council Chairman spoke to the archaeologist working in the field adjacent to The Length. She explained that nine trenches had been dug and, unfortunately, nothing of historical interest had been found. They will be off site by Monday, 24th August and then a report will be provided for the developer.
